Today mommy took me to have my picture taken in my Easter dress and I was such a good girl. I have my first tooth coming in and so far so good, I get a little cranky around nap time but luckily I haven't had any fevers and I still sleep through the night. I hope the rest of my teeth come in this way.

Just a little update

Since the last post I have learned to roll over from my tummy to my back, it takes me a little while but I can do it. I have started to eat vegetables, so far I have only had carrots and sweet potatoes, I like them both. Next week I start to eat fruits. I haven't gained any weight since the last time , I am still 16 1/2 lbs. Right now my favorite toy is my jumper, I love it. My mommy has to put shoes on me when I'm in my jumper because I jump so hard she's afraid I'll hurt my toes. I'm waiting for the weather to get warmer so mommy can take me for walks, we went out earlier in the week when the weather was warm and we had fun, but now it's too cold. Hopefully it will warm up soon.

My Christening Day

Today was my Christening day and I was such a good girl. My mommy and daddy were so proud of me, I didn't cry once in the church not even when the priest poured water on my head. I was Christened at St. Fidelis church, that's where mommy and daddy were married. The weather was beautiful today, my mommy says it was my great grandparents looking down on me today. I think so too. After the church we had a little party at Ponticello's in Astoria, I think everyone had a nice time, I hope so. Here are some pictures of my Christening. My Aunt Dina and Uncle Billy are my Godparents, they came by the house early and put on my beautiful dress for me.

My new toy

This is my new Rainforest Jumperoo...my mom bought it for me yesterday. I'm not quite sure if I like it or not there's a lot to look at. But I don't cry when I'm in it so that's a good thing

Mother's Heart

This is a poem that I found on the internet I thought it was so nice I wanted to share it.

I loved you from the very start,
You stole my breath, embraced my heart.
Our life together has just begun
You're part of me my little one.
As mother with child, each day I grew,
My mind was filled with thoughts of you.

I'd daydream of the things we'd share,
Like late-night bottles and Teddy bears.
Like first steps and skinned knees,
Like bedtime stories and ABC's.

Like how birds fly and flowers grow.

I thought of lessons I'd need to share,

Getting bigger every day

My mommy weighed me today and I am 16 1/2 pounds and 28" long. WOW!! Must be all that yummy cereal I have been eating. I have outgrown alot of my clothes...but my mommy doesn't mind...she loves to shop for me. I finally rolled over last night, I have been trying to do so for weeks and I did it last night. I rolled over from my back to my tummy...you should have seen my mommy and daddy's face when they came into my room and saw me on my tummy in the crib. They were pretty excited. Now if I can only roll over from my tummy to my back but I will keep trying.
